The Hodinkee App represents a unique multidisciplinary approach to the horological world. The app is about sharing access, and to knowing your stuff. The work of Clymer and his team here advances and captures the most important part of watchmaking, ones relationship to representing time. While the majority take that re-presentation of time for granted, Hodinkee talks watches but thinks Einstein. Through breathtaking mechanical systems, and design forms that unify and coalesce into an art, the authors of this site, get it; that a watch is a prism through which worlds and lives travel. (And they know better than to talk this way!). Its great fun, its interesting, its cool and its thrilling to find the community with whom you share a common fascination.

Downloaded the app, it works great. The interface is smooth and the layout just makes you want to read more. Also love how you could shop right out from it. Nothing more but Highly Recommended.

Easy to use and lots of great info. I prefer using the app on my iPhone over browsing the Hodinkee website on my desktop.

Ive always been an avid reader of the site, and I was curious to try out an app version. I must say that its remarkably well made. In particular, I like the feature of bookmarking my favourite articles. As a suggestion, in the future, I would love the possibility of reading the articles with white text over a dark background.

This is a great app for watch news and reviews. Works well. I especially love the clock/time tab for setting my watches. No need to look at the time and your watch at the same time, since it has a audible count down beep for the last 5 seconds of every minute.

Just bought a watch with a moon phase complication, and they just added a new time section with moonphase. Perfect timing.

The clean, classic watch face was infinitely preferable to the Tudor overlay (I assume) youre being paid to implement. Is there a way to override it? I know the old ones still there because its visible for a second before the Tudor overlay ruins it. :(

This app is something great for anyone who is new to the craft such as myself. I have learned so much and had a blast! Thank you Hodinkee!

Overall a very nice app that could be convenient. However, one of the things I enjoy most is to read the comments from fellow watch enthusiasts below he articles and comment myself. Since this feature is missing, I barely use the app.

Great news and love the current time feature for synchronizing my watches. More Talking Watches episodes! Theyre great.

Nicer than on Chrome

Great content, but really need to be able to adjust the text size or support dynamic type. Badge app icon notification does not work at all. Notifications arent cleared when the app is opened.
